When taking this photo, I wanted to encapsulate the chaos of personal expression. The psychedelic meets the real, and althought there is a lot going on in this picture, it still eminates a sense of discomfort. I used one of my camcorders in order to get the frame-in-frame effect, and edited the fire and ‘third eye’ into the image, as setting fires indoors seemed unethical. Everything has a second layer, a deeper meaning, it’s only up to the consumer to decide what that meaning is.
